Ogun State At 40

Today, Ogun State marked 40 years of its creation. Personalities like President Muhammadu Buhari, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Former interim president Ernest Shonekan,
Ibikunle Amosun, Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Osun State Governor Ralif Agbesola, Ogun State Governor, all Ogun State commisioners and Ogun State Paramount Rulers all attended a luncheon at the State capital Abeokuta after the president went round the state to commission 40 projects in the state tagged "Operation 40-40". The luncheon had Entertainers like Kay Kay of Prime Time, Alibaba & Olamide handling the mic. 
Awards were given, speeches made & the official cake of the celebration cut, the even was such a graceful one and marked the beginning of greater things to come in the state.
